YES I CAN (Youth Endeavoring to Succeed) Program

The purpose of the program is to enhance the academic skills and career focus of college-bound high school students so as to improve their likelihood of admission to, and success in, college, and ultimately in life. The program will focus on the above career paths and will include: SAT preparation, analytical thinking, writing, and study and presentation skills.

Annual Educational Conference

The AMBYESE Annual Educational Conference is a college preparatory, educational experience where students interface with professionals from various fields including: medicine/healthcare, engineering, law, finance, marketing, communications and journalism, and science. Additionally, there will be workshops dealing with the process of transiting from high school to college, and a special workshop regarding how students who rank in the top 5 to 10 percent of their class can apply for The very highly competitive and world-renowned Pre-College Programs at The University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN.

AMBYESE Scientific Lab Symposium

The symposium will provide an overview of emerging opportunities and benefits of pursuing a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematical (STEM) related undergraduate degree. The symposium will also familiarize college-bound students (who possess above average aptitudes in science and mathematics) to the emerging careers in natural/life science available to them within the public and private sectors by electing to pursue an undergraduate degree majoring in natural/life science.

Students who attend the symposium will hear from a distinguished panel of STEM professional from the business and healthcare sectors. WCBS -Radio News 88’s News and Program Director as well as the CIA - Central Intelligence Agency will make presentations.
